We are happy to let you know that the musical comedy "Battements de coeur pour un duo de cordes" by the Theatre-Nuit from Nantes, France, will be presented at the state of the art performance hall of UNIVERSITY PREP. School, located at 8000 25^th Avenue NE in Seattle at 4:00 pm.

Créée à Nantes, Battements de cœur pour duo de cordes, tourne actuellement en France pour la troisième saison consécutive et dépassera bientôt le cap des 200 représentations. Pédagogue, Jean-Luc Annaix a piloté pendant 7 ans le module-théâtre de l'Université de Nantes (1990 - 1997). Il dirige actuellement un atelier de formation à la comédie musicale et au théâtre chanté. Le Théâtre-Nuit diffuse ses spectacles en France et à l'étranger. Le Théâtre-Nuit a été "nommé" aux Molières 2004 - Prix Adami.

L'histoire

Comme il le fait chaque jour, Jean-Paul Lerincheux, atrabilaire invétéré, prend plaisir à déverser son fiel et à vomir sa haine du genre humain. Excédées par les vociférations et les hurlements de leur très antipathique propriétaire, Elly et Lisa, adorables cordes vocales, décident après quarante ans de bons et loyaux services, de quitter leur larynx d'origine et de refaire leur vie. Leur départ ne va pas sans entraîner une retentissante extinction de voix qui va… tout déclencher !

WHO on human to human transmission in Indonesia: "The growing number of people with bird flu-like symptoms in Indonesia does not mean the outbreak is becoming worse, and there is no sign the virus can be passed easily among people, top U.N. health experts said on Thursday.

Alarm has spread in populous Indonesia. Bird flu has killed four people and 11 are under observation in the capital. Two others, both children, have also died but the government is awaiting results to confirm if the H5N1 virus killed them.

Despite the cases, there is no evidence the H5N1 strain has mutated into a form that could trigger a pandemic, said Georg Petersen, the World Health Organization's Indonesia representative.

Nevertheless, he pointed to the possibility of transmission through very close contact with an infected person.

'I think very close contact with a sick person might infect that caretaker. That is why in hospitals we need to take all precautions ... That would be in a way a human-to-human transmission, but that demands close, close contact,' he said.
